HIGH POINT, N.C. (AP) — Al’Lonzo Coleman scored 21 points, including the game-winning layup, and also had 13 rebounds and eight assists to lift Presbyterian over High Point 65-62 Thursday night, snapping a seven-game skid.

Coleman scored 12 of the Blue Hose’s final 14 points in the last 7:35 to erase a five-point deficit.

Presbyterian (9-13, 3-9 Big South Conference) trailed 52-42 with 13:25 remaining. Khalid Mutakabbir and Ryan McTavish hit jumpers to pull the Blue Hose within six, but they could get no closer until Tyler Deihl’s 3-pointer made it 56-51.

Coleman then scored on three free throws, a layup, another free throw, two layups — including the game-winner with 11 seconds left — and two free throws with 2 seconds remaining to seal it.

Presbyterian shot 57.5 percent (23 of 40).

Nick Barbour and Xavier Martin scored 16 points apiece for the Panthers (8-15, 4-9), who have lost six of their last seven.
