Bethune-Cookman defeats North Carolina A&T 92-77

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Kevin Dukes scored 30 points to lead Bethune-Cookman to a 92-77 win over North Carolina A&T on Saturday.

Dukes was 11 of 18 from the field, going 8 of 14 from 3-point range, to lead four Wildcats in double figures. Adrien Coleman added 16 points, Anthony Breeze 10 and Garrius Holloman had 11 points, 10 rebounds and four assists for Bethune-Cookman (10-13, 7-2 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference).

It was the fifth win in six games for Bethune-Cookman, which outrebounded the Aggies 34-25. The Wildcats had won four straight before falling to Florida A&M 68-62 on Jan. 28.

The Wildcats shot 53.2 percent from the field (33 of 62), and made 11 of 23 3-pointers.

Adrian Powell led the Aggies (10-14, 5-4) with 18 points and Nic Simpson added 14. Lawrence Smith, DeMetrius Upchurch and March Hill each added 11 for North Carolina A&T.
