Boys basketball: Mountain View 67, Camas 49

The Thunder dominated the middle to quarters and finished the regular season by thumping Camas.

Zach Torson led three Mountain View players in double figures as the Thunder finished alone in second place in the Class 3A Greater St. Helens League.

Mountain View (15-5, 10-2) will begin play the next Thursday in the district semifinals against the survivor from two elimination games on Monday and Tuesday.

Camas (7-13, 4-8) will play in Monday’s game, with the winner advancing to face Prairie on Tuesday. The 3A GSHL boys basketball tournament will be played at Fort Vancouver.

Mountain View outscored Camas 34-12 over the middle two quarters. Ryan Johnson finished with 12 points and Rico Bolivar added 10.

For Camas, Kyle Friend scored 15 points.
