EVERETT, Wash. (AP) — An official at an Everett, Wash., airfield says emergency crews have rescued a worker who was temporarily trapped beneath the tires of a Boeing 787 jetliner.

Paine Field Airport Director Dave Waggoner tells KOMO-TV that the Japan Airlines plane was being towed Friday evening when a member of a Boeing ground crew was run over.

A helicopter transported the person to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle for treatment of leg injuries.

Additional information on the injured worker was not immediately available.
