Wisconsin-Green Bay women win again

GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Julie Wojta scored 14 of her 16 points in the first half and No. 10 Wisconsin-Green Bay remained unbeaten with an 85-39 win over Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Saturday night.

Green Bay (20-0 overall, 10-0 Horizon League), which entered with its highest ranking ever, coasted to its 40th straight regular-season victory.

Sarah Eichler also finished with 16 points for the Phoenix, who had five players score in double figures.

The Phoenix closed the first half with a 17-2 run. Green Bay led 48-22 at the break after Adrian Ritchie’s deep buzzer-beating 3-pointer.

Hannah Quilling, a reserve, scored 12 points, and Ritchie and Lydia Bauer had 10 apiece for the Phoenix.

Angela Rodriguez hit four 3s and finished with 12 points for Milwaukee (6-15, 2-8).
