Cannon blast injures Montesano man

MONTESANO, Wash. (AP) — A man firing a black powder cannon in a remote location near Montesano was injured when it spontaneously discharged.

The Grays Harbor County sheriff’s office told KBKW the 45-year-old Montesano man suffered a severe injury Sunday to his right leg and third-degree burns to his left leg.

He was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
