JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) — Aloys Cabell scored a career-high 28 points as Jacksonville used a first-half surge to defeat Stetson 74-63 Monday night, snapping a four-game skid and splitting the season series.

Down 23-14 at the 8:14 mark, the Dolphins (5-19, 3-10 Atlantic Sun Conference) then outscored the Hatters 24-8 to lead by seven at halftime.

After Stetson got to 56-53, Cabell hit a 3-pointer with 9:25 left and the Hatters could get no closer.
