DURHAM, N.H. (AP) — Tommy Brenton scored 14 points and Bryan Dougher added 10 for Stony Brook in a 57-48 win over New Hampshire on Monday, solidifying the Seawolves’ current spot atop the America East Conference.

Dallis Joyner chipped in with 11 rebounds for the Seawolves (16-7, 11-1), who have won seven straight games beginning with another win against New Hampshire in the teams’ only other regular-season meeting on Jan. 16.

Stony Brook led by four points at the break and outscored the Wildcats 33-28 in the second half to seal the close win.

Alvin Abreu finished with 19 points to lead New Hampshire (8-14, 3-9), which has lost three of its last four games.
