Boys basketball: Seton Catholic 69, WSD 23

Conor McDaid O’Neill led a balanced attack with 12 points, leading the Cougars to a victory in their final regular-season game.

Seton Catholic will be the No. 4 seed in the upcoming district tournament. The Cougars will travel to face Mary M. Knight in Matclock on Saturday in the opening round.

McDaid-O’Neill also added 10 rebounds and five assists to his stat line.

Evan Simms and Justin James each had nine points for Seton. Simms also had nine steals.
