PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A pod of Portland food carts has applied for a liquor license.

A central cart would check IDs and sell beer and wine.

KATU reports (http://is.gd/Vxj3EM) there’s no law against food cart alcohol but the city doesn’t like the idea.

Commissioners are voting Wednesday on a resolution asking the Oregon Liquor Control Commission to come up with better rules for alcohol carts.
