1 killed in house fire near Tacoma

TACOMA, Wash. (AP) — At least one person has been killed in a house fire near Tacoma.

Neighbors told KOMO (http://is.gd/g7FFfo ) the dead person is believed to be a man in his 60s who lived in the home, and the man’s wife is missing.

Central Pierce Fire & Rescue Assistant Chief Randy Stephens says firefighters were dispatched about 7:45 a.m. Thursday. They found one body and searched for the second possible victim.
