Drug dog finds heroin in SUV; driver arrested

SALEM, Ore. (AP) — Officers and a drug-detecting dog found six pounds of heroin worth an estimated $272,000 stashed in an SUV after a traffic stop on Interstate 5 near Salem, Ore.

KVAL reports (http://is.gd/eBYCTm ) that Oregon State Police arrested the driver, a 24-year-old Tijuana, Mexico, man, this week for investigation of unlawful possession and delivery of a controlled substance.
