Vancouver man signs book deal

Heritage — Local author Dan Strawn has signed a publication deal with Bluewood Publishing for his upcoming novel.

“Black Wolf’s Return” is a five-century ride through the West that explores the common fates of Nez Perce tribe and wolves in Eastern Oregon.

The book is scheduled for release in late 2012.

Strawn volunteers with the Nez Perce National Historical Park in Nez Perce, Idaho, and teaches courses for the Mature Learning department at Clark College in Vancouver.
