SPOKANE, Wash. (AP) — Spokane police say a detective had his parked car’s emergency lights activated when it was hit in a well-lit intersection Thursday night, as the detective helped direct traffic after a concert at the Spokane Arena.

The detective was out of the car at the time and no one was injured.

The driver was cited for negligent driving.
