TOLEDO, Ohio (AP) — The Cleveland Cavaliers say center Anderson Varejao is out with a fractured right wrist.
Varejao was injured early in the second half of the Cavaliers’ 113-112 overtime loss to Milwaukee on Friday. A follow-up exam and MRI on Saturday showed he has a non-displaced fracture.
The team said Varejao would miss Saturday’s home game against Philadelphia. They’ll determine a timeline for his return after he undergoes further examination.
Varejao has averaged 10.8 points and 11.5 rebounds in 25 games this season.
