Boys basketball: Columbia Adventist 70, Oakville 50

Kesomi Palaki scored 18 points as the Kodiaks outscored Oakville 23-4 in the first quarter and breezed to a 1B district playoff game.

Columbia Adventist will face Mary M. Knight next Saturday in Montesano for a berth in the 1B regionals.

Thomas Reed added 16 points and Josh Rodriguez had 13 for Columbia Adventist.
