NEW YORK (AP) — With their Knicks and Rangers teams on winning streaks and Linsanity spreading through the sports world, shares of The Madison Square Garden Co. are trading at all-time highs.

The Knicks have won a season-best five games in a row, and the basketball team’s new point guard Jeremy Lin is one of the surprise stories of the NBA season. The one-time benchwarmer has become a starter and a fan favorite.

The fervor for Lin may help MSG in its dispute with Time Warner Cable Inc. Knicks games on the MSG network aren’t being broadcast because of the dispute, but the Knicks’ hot streak may bring Time Warner back to the bargaining table.

And MSG’s hockey team, the Rangers, leads the Eastern Conference.

The stock is up 3 percent in afternoon trading.
