ST. PAUL, Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Wild have recalled defenseman Marco Scandella and forward Kris Foucault from the AHL.

The move was made Monday. Roster spots opened when forward Brad Staubitz was sent to the Houston Aeros and defenseman Clayton Stoner was put on injured reserve with a lower body injury last week.

Stoner joined forwards Pierre-Marc Bouchard, Guillaume Latendresse and Jarod Palmer on IR. They’re all out indefinitely with concussions. Forward Cal Clutterbuck also sustained a lower body injury Saturday against Columbus.

Scandella has three of the 10 goals by Wild defensemen this season. He was sent down five weeks ago.

If Foucault plays, he will be the NHL-most 39th player used by the Wild this season. The franchise record is 40, set last season.

The Wild host Anaheim Tuesday.
