Camas woman still in hospital after Highway 500 accident

A Camas woman who was injured in a head-on traffic accident along Highway 500 on Saturday remained in a local hospital Sunday evening.

Jaime L. Saemann, 45, was at PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, where her condition was not available. She was injured in a collision at 4:45 p.m. Saturday when her SUV crossed the center line of the highway and collided with another vehicle driven by Makayla M. Yost, 17, of Vancouver. Saemann had been reported in critical condition Saturday night. Yost suffered bruises and was treated in the hospital’s emergency room.
