Visiting Colorado man killed in Astoria

ASTORIA, Ore. (AP) — Oregon State Police say witnesses confirm a pedestrian was in a crosswalk when he was struck by a pickup truck in Astoria.

The accident Monday killed 67-year-old James Alan Lum of Colorado Springs, Colo., who was in Astoria to visit relatives.

State police are handling the investigation of the truck driver, a 42-year-old Astoria man.
