1 person found dead after NW Wash. house fire

ARLINGTON, Wash. (AP) — One person has been found dead after a house fire in Arlington, Wash., north of Everett.

City spokeswoman Kristin Banfield says the fire started Wednesday afternoon.

The age and gender of the victim weren’t immediately available.

Banfield tells the Daily Herald of Everett that fire crews found the body while extinguishing the flames.

The cause of the blaze is under investigation.
