A woman on Wednesday reclaimed a stolen camera found by Vancouver police, officials said.
On Aug. 30, officers were sent to a vehicle prowl and arrested two people, according to a bulletin from police spokeswoman Kim Kapp.
Inside a vehicle the suspects used, officers found stolen property including the camera, which has about 1,000 images inside.
Police on Tuesday released a few of the images to help find the owner. The owner’s friends spotted the images released through the media and told her to get in touch with police, Kapp said.
“She was thrilled that she had some observant friends and family,” Kapp said.
