Del Potro, Berdych reach Rotterdam semis

ROTTERDAM, Netherlands (AP) — Third-seeded Juan Martin Del Potro of Argentina reached the ABN Amro World Tennis semifinals Friday with a 6-0, 6-1 win over seventh-ranked Viktor Troicki of Serbia.

Del Potro won the first eight games before losing one to his Serbian opponent, and completed the victory in just under an hour.

Del Potro will play second-seeded Thomas Berdych, who defeated Italian Viktor Seppi 6-3, 6-4.

Top-seeded Roger Federer was to play Jarko Nieminen while Nikolay Davydenko played Richard Gasquet in the other quarterfinals later Friday.
