LONDON (AP) — Rory McIlroy is confident the changes he has made to his swing will have clicked by the time he tees off at the Masters in April.
The 22-year-old Northern Irishman has been working with long-time coach Michael Bannon on improving his swing set-up.
He says it will “take a couple more weeks to fully click in” but that he will “be well and truly ready” for the first major of the year at Augusta National.
McIlroy leaves for the United States to play in the Accenture Match Play Championship, which begins Monday.
He began his season by finishing second in Abu Dhabi and fifth in Dubai last week.
