HAMDEN, Conn. (AP) — Jalen Cannon scored 13 points and pulled down 19 boards to lead St. Francis (N.Y.) to a 64-56 win over Quinnipiac on Thursday night.

Brent Jones added 11 points while both Akeem Johnson and Travis Nichols chipped in 10 apiece for the Terriers (14-12, 11-4 Northeast Conference). St. Francis got back on the winning track after dropping back-to-back games to conference leaders LIU-Brooklyn.

Prior to that two-game skid, the Terriers had won a season-high five straight.

In this contest, St. Francis led 30-26 at the break and outscored the Bobcats 34-30 in the second half to seal the sweep of the regular-season series. The Terriers also beat the Bobcats on Jan. 5.

Garvey Young finished with 14 points to pace Quinnipiac (15-11, 8-7), while Ike Azotam turned in 12 points and 15 rebounds. The Bobcats had their season-high four-game winning streak snapped.
