PITTSBURGH (AP) — Pittsburgh Penguins star Sidney Crosby skated with his teammates for the first time in more than two months on Friday but remains bothered by concussion-like symptoms.
Crosby says he’s “getting better” but hasn’t been able to shake some of the issues that have plagued him since he returned to the injured list in early December. He skated for more than 30 minutes with the rest of the Penguins during a light practice before the team heads to Philadelphia and Buffalo this weekend.
The 24-year-old has not been cleared for contact but enjoyed getting on the ice with other players after spending recent weeks skating only with other injured players.
There still is no timetable for Crosby’s return, but he remains optimistic he can come back some time this season.
