DOHA, Qatar (AP) — Top-ranked Victoria Azarenka reached the Qatar Open final, defeating Agenieszka Radwanska 6-2, 6-4 while hobbling on some points because of an ankle injury.

Azarenka will play Australia’s Sam Stosur for the title Sunday. Stosur advanced in her semifinal when Marion Bartoli retired with a right calf injury after losing the first set 6-3.

Azarenka won her first set with ease and broke the fourth-seeded Radwanska to go up 1-0 in the second set. But then she fell badly on her right ankle trying to chase down a drop shot.

Radwanska took advantage of an ailing Azarenka, breaking serve and going up 2-1. But Azarenka ran off the next four games before winning the match with a forehand that caught the line.
