WALLA WALLA, Wash. (AP) — A stolen car being chased by police crashed in Walla Walla, injuring three people.
KVEW reports (http://is.gd/WpNVgC ) there were outstanding arrest warrants for a man and woman in the stolen car.
Police were trying to stop the car Sunday afternoon when it ran a stop sign and collided with a pickup truck driven by a 62-year-old Walla Walla man. Officers pulled him through the back window of his truck before it caught fire.
All three were taken to hospitals. The 31-year-old man driving the stolen car was the most seriously injured. He was airlifted to a hospital in Seattle with head trauma.
