Clark County sheriff’s deputies are trying to learn why two men in ski masks, one with a gun, entered a house in the 6200 block of Northeast 17th Avenue about 5:30 Monday night.

The men, one described as black and one white, both in dark clothing, apparently took nothing after entering the house. The homeowner was reportedly in Woodburn, Ore.

A friend and a baby-sitter were in the house, a deputy believed, but said details were sketchy.

The men had not been found as of The Columbian’s press time.
