Two Vancouver residents are each facing one count of first degree burglary for their involvement in a break-in at a Camas home.
Scott Irvin, 24, and Mark Wolf, 31, have been booked at the Clark County Jail.
The burglary occurred Tuesday, at the 3800 block of Northwest 26th Avenue. Camas Police were initially dispatched at 3:36 p.m., after the burglary was interrupted by a resident of the home. The resident, who called 911, reported that the intruder entered the house through an open garage door.
When the resident heard someone in the home, he confronted them and a brief struggle ensued. The intruder, Irvin, was able to escape the home and get into a waiting vehicle. The truck, driven by Wolf, quickly fled the scene.
The victim was able to provide a description of the intruder and the vehicle to 911. Camas police located the vehicle within minutes and arrested the only two occupants, Irvin and Wolf.
