DALLAS, Ore. (AP) — A Polk County, Ore., man has been sentenced to nearly 67 years in prison for possession and distribution of child pornography.
The county district attorney’s office tells the Statesman Journal that 36-year-old David Klinepier was sentenced Thursday. He pleaded guilty last November to 20 counts of first-degree encouragement of child abuse.
The sheriff’s office says Klinepier used his personal computer to download and share child pornography. The Newberg Police Department examined Klinepier’s computer equipment and found more than one million images and videos of child sexual abuse.
