HILLSBORO, Ore. (AP) — A man arrested in an Oregon shooting that critically wounded one man has been arraigned on charges of first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon.

The Washington County sheriff’s office says 32-year-old Jeffrey McGregor was located by the U.S. Marshals Service Oregon Fugitive Task Force. He was arrested early Friday by a sheriff’s SWAT team and Hillsboro police as he slept in an RV.

Sheriff’s spokesman Sgt. David Thompson says officers continue to look for a 33-year-old woman described as a person of interest.

Thursday’s shooting wounded 45-year-old Jeffrey Sutton at his home in Metzger, west of Portland. The Oregonian said he was listed in critical condition Friday at OHSU Hospital following surgery.

Officers say Sutton and the woman reportedly had lived together but recently broke up. Thompson says investigators are not disclosing a possible motive for the shooting.
