Boys
FRIDAY’S GAMES
CLASS 4A
Union (17-7) vs. Curtis of Tacoma (19-6) 8 p.m. at Auburn High School (Internet broadcast: www.carlclick.com): Curtis beat Union last week 59-51 en route to the 4A bi-district tournament title. Look for the Titans to start out stronger. They trailed 13-0 to the Vikings.
Evergreen (15-9) vs. Davis of Yakima (19-2) 8 p.m. at Spokane Falls Community College: The Plainsmen, led by 6-11 Caleb Dressler, are making their second consecutive appearance in the final 16. … Davis is ranked No. 1 in the state by the Seattle Times and the Tacoma News Tribune.
CLASS 3A
Mountain View (20-7) vs. Seattle Prep (21-5) 8 p.m. at Bellevue College: Our guess is Seattle Prep will be on the lookout for Mountain View’s Zach Torson, who has scored 42 and 43 points in his last two games. Seattle Prep jumped up to the top spot in the 3A rankings for the Seattle Times and is No. 2 in the Tacoma News Tribune.
