CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) — Dominque Morrison scored 24 points and Oral Roberts closed out the regular season with a school-record 17th Summit League victory, beating Southern Utah 73-71 Saturday night.

The Golden Eagles (26-5, 17-1) won their sixth straight game and topped the 25-win mark for the fifth time in school history — and second time since becoming a Division I program in 1969-70.

Top-seeded Oral Roberts will face No. 8 seed IPFW in the first round of the Summit League tournament on March 3, while Southern Utah (13-16, 8-10) will carry the No. 6 seed and face No. 3 Oakland on March 4.

Roderick Pearson added 15 points for the Golden Eagles and Warren Niles had 12.

Jackson Stevenett scored 22 points and Damon Heuir had 15 for Southern Utah, which lost to Oral Roberts for the 19th straight time. The Thunderbirds are moving to the Big Sky Conference next season.
