Austria wins gold at Ski Flying worlds in Norway

VIKERSUND, Norway (AP) — Austria held off Germany to win the gold medal in the team event at the Ski Flying World Championships on Sunday.

Thomas Morgenstern, Andreas Kofler, Gregor Schlierenzauer and Martin Koch combined to score 1648.4 points on the 225-meter hill in Vikersund.

Germany won the silver with 1625.2 points. Slovenia took the bronze with 1580.4.
