Former Vancouver Housing Authority leader Kurt Creager has been named Otak Inc.’s Housing and Community Development director, a move that suggests the engineering and development company plans to pursue projects in the lucrative market of apartment development.

Creager left the public housing authority in 2006 to serve as executive director of the Stardust Center at Arizona State University, which supports efforts to provide affordable housing. Creager headed the VHA for 15 years.
