Woman found in WA Little Washougal River drowned

VANCOUVER, Wash. (AP) — The Clark County sheriff’s office says a 42-year-old woman whose body was pulled from the Little Washougal River died of accidental drowning.

The sheriff’s office says the county medical examiner made that determination.

The body was recovered Monday. The sheriff’s office says the woman has been identified and officers are working to notify her relatives.
