FULLERTON, Calif. (AP) — D.J. Seeley scored 25 points and Kwame Vaughn 24 to lead Cal State Fullerton to an 87-76 victory over Cal State Northridge on Wednesday night.

Isiah Umipig added 12 points and Omondi Amoke had 12 rebounds for the Titans (20-8, 11-4 Big West), who notched the seventh 20-victory season in school history by winning their 11th straight at home.

Josh Greene scored 19 points and Stephen Maxwell had his second double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds as the Matadors (7-21, 3-13) finished their season on a four-game losing streak.

Cal State Fullerton finally took the lead for good when Vaughn’s layup ended the first half for a 37-36 edge. But the lead did not reach double figures until Vaughn’s 3-pointer made it 78-66 with 3:56 to go.

The Titans are locked into the second or third seed in the conference tournament. The Matadors did not qualify.
