A woman whose body was pulled from the Little Washougal River on Monday died of accidental drowning, the Clark County Sheriff’s Office said in a bulletin Tuesday.

That determination was made by the Medical Examiner.

She was 42 and has been positively identified, according to a bulletin from the Clark County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday.

Her name has not yet been released because officials have not yet notified her family members.

Monday about 11 a.m. East County Fire & Rescue and the Clark County Sheriff’s Office were called to the 200 block of Northeast Blair Road, where the body had been seen, the bulletin said.

The Clark County Technical Rescue Team pulled the woman’s body from the river.
