Okla. St. guard Olukemi lost for year with injury

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) — Oklahoma State swingman Jean-Paul Olukemi is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury.

OSU coach Travis Ford announced Monday that Olukemi tore the ACL in one of his knee early in the second half of Saturday’s loss to Virginia Tech. Ford also said starting guard Markel Brown aggravated a hip injury during Saturday’s game and is “day-to-day.

Olukemi was averaging 9.4 points and 4.8 rebounds a game while Brown averages 8.4 points per game for the Cowboys.

OSU is 7-6 so far this season and opens Big 12 Conference play Wednesday at home against Texas Tech.
