Girls basketball: Ridgefield 49, Ilwaco 30

The Spudders dominated the second half to win their third game in a row after a 1-6 start to the season.

Shannon Boyle had 14 points, including 10 in the first half to lead Ridgefield to a five-point lead.

Then the Spudders took off in the second half, outscoring Ilwaco by 14.

Elizabeth Vance, who scored 12 points, Cami Pickett, and Carly Estes each connected on second-half 3-pointers to help the cause.
