YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) — Yakima County sheriff’s deputies believe a 61-year-old Gleed man took a neighbor’s truck at gunpoint Wednesday night and fired shots near the home of his wife’s parents.

The sheriff’s office says his wife was at work in Selah at the time and feared he intended to harm her.

Deputies, police and state troopers chased the stolen truck. It was stopped with a spike strip, and the 61-year-old man was arrested for investigation of multiple felony charges.
