LONDON (AP) — London Olympics organizers have temporarily suspended the sale of a limited number of tickets for the 2012 Games after computer problems kept causing trouble for buyers.
The tickets were being sold Friday at face value and came from customers who decided to submit them for resale. But requests for resale orders were suspended until the system could be fixed, a spokesman for the organizing committee said.
These tickets are only being sold in Europe. Customers can still go to the site and get tickets for soccer and the Paralympics, but people offering tickets for resale will have to wait until the system is refreshed.
