A Vancouver lawyer known for his engagement in civic issues, most recently representing a company that sought to build a biomass plant downtown, has left prominent Northwest firm Miller Nash to form a law firm with his wife, who is also active in the community.

Steve and Cynthia Horenstein are now partners in Horenstein Law Group PLLC, the couple said. Their seven-person office, at 500 E. Broadway, Suite 120, also includes two other attorneys, Thomas Hackett and Sekou Caldwell.

The practice will focus on real estate and business law, as well as government affairs, Steve Horenstein said.
