Boys basketball: Mountain View 73, Hudson’s Bay 59

Mountain View 73, Hudson’s Bay 59 — Zach Torson scored 32 points, and Hudson’s Bay was hounded by foul trouble and poor free throw shooting.

Mountain View took a 35-27 lead into halftime as Bay had players get in foul trouble in the second quarter.

The Eagles rallied in the fourth quarter, cutting the deficit to five. But Bay missed 12 free throws in the final period, helping the Thunder pull away.

Ryan Johnson had 14 points, Rico Bolivar had 11 and Taylor Drey added 10 for Mountain View.

TJ Brumfield led Bay with 20 points and Jahmile Sipaia added 15.
