Canada’s Milos Raonic wins Chennai Open

CHENNAI, India (AP) — Milos Raonic of Canada beat top-seeded Janko Tipsarevic of Serbia 6-7, 7-6, 7-6 Sunday to win the Chennai Open for the second title of his career.

The fourth-seeded Raonic had 35 aces in a match lasting 3 hours, 16 minutes. Raonic reached the title match by defeating Nicolas Almagro of Spain in the semifinals.

Tipsarevic was to team with Leander Paes of India in the doubles final later in the day against Jonathan Erlich and Andy Ram.
