FAIRFAX, Va. (AP) — Elena Delle Donne had 40 points and 15 rebounds as No. 21 Delaware cruised to a 66-54 win over George Mason on Sunday.

Danielle Parker scored 10 points for the Blue Hens (12-1, 3-0 Colonial Athletic Association), but it was Delle Donne, the nation’s leading scorer at 29.5 points per game, who dominated this league matchup.

George Mason (7-7, 1-1) had no answer for the rangy forward as she shot 15 of 26 from the field and helped Delaware dominate the boards 49-19.

The Blue Hens never trailed as Delle Donne reeled off 15 straight points in the first half and Delaware opened up a 16-point lead. The Patriots cut it to nine, trailing 34-25 at halftime, but could get no closer than six in the second half.

Taleia Moton scored 30 points for the Patriots who have lost four straight.
