Sheriff’s deputies say a man who’s been convicted six times of sex crimes against girls has moved to the 5100 block of Northeast 24th Avenue, near Minnehaha Elementary School.

Michael Anthony Muldoon, 43, is classified as a Level 3 sex offender, the group considered the most likely to commit new sex crimes, according to a bulletin from the Sex Offender Registration Unit of the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

He’s been convicted of second-degree sexual abuse of a 12-year-old girl; contributing to the sexual delinquency of a 14-year-old girl; third-degree rape of a 14-year-old girl; first-degree rape and third-degree sodomy involving a 15-year-old runaway girl; and first-degree rape of a 17-year-old girl, the bulletin said.

Muldoon was recently released from custody. He is white, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 230 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes.

He drives a red 1991 Jeep four-door with Washington license 599-TWB and a brown 1998 Ford Windstar minivan, license unavailable.

He’s not being sought by police, but is monitored by the sheriff’s unit, the state Department of Corrections and the Sex Offender Tracking Unit of the Vancouver Police Department.
