MILWAUKEE (AP) — Bucks center Andrew Bogut has returned to the starting lineup after missing four games to fly home to Australia for an undisclosed personal matter.

The Bucks lost all four games that Bogut missed.

The center has not disclosed why he left, but said it was a family emergency that involved a hospital.

He says he appreciated team owner Sen. Herb Kohl and general manager John Hammond giving him permission to miss the games.

Bogut is averaging 14.3 points and 10 rebounds in 34 minutes.

Coach Scott Skiles says the coaching staff would monitor Bogut’s play Tuesday against San Antonio to see if the time off affected him.
