PORT TOWNSEND, Wash. (AP) — The Coast Guard says there was an explosion Monday morning on board a vessel moored near the Coast Guard Cutter Osprey in Port Townsend.

Petty Officer Nathan Bradshaw in Seattle says nobody was on board the 47-foot fishing vessel, called the Silver Lady. It has not taken on water. There’s no damage to the cutter.

The Port Townsend Fire Department responded.
